The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to):
Site Supervision
· Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities of tradesmen and site workforce.
· Ensure that work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and approved construction methods.
· Monitor progress and productivity of all assigned teams.
· Provide guidance and instruction to foremen, artisans, and labourers on site.
Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ)
· Enforce Concor’s safety standards and promote a culture of safety on site.
· Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and daily inspections.
· Ensure compliance with quality control procedures, including inspection and test plans (ITPs).
· Identify and address unsafe practices and non-compliance issues.
Planning & Coordination
· Assist the Site Agent in short-term planning and allocation of labour and resources.
· Coordinate between subcontractors and trades to maintain workflow efficiency.
· Resolve on-site issues and escalations promptly to management.
· Support implementation of project schedules and milestones.
Reporting & Documentation
· Maintain accurate daily site reports, labour records, and progress updates.
· Record and report incidents, delays, and site challenges.
· Support documentation for quality, safety, and commercial purposes.
Team Development
· Mentor and develop junior foremen and site staff.
· Promote teamwork and effective communication among site personnel.
· Encourage adherence to company policies and procedures.
Minimum requirements
Minimum Requirements
· Trade certificate, National Diploma, or equivalent in a construction-related field.
· Relevant safety certifications (e.g., SHE, First Aid) advantageous.
Experience
· Minimum 6 years’ experience in building construction.
· Proven experience as a Foreman or Senior Foreman on residential, multi-storey, or mixed-use building projects.
· Experience supervising diverse teams and managing subcontractor activities.
