Introduction
Concor Construction invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of a Junior Foreman.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for the activities of a team of workers performing routine tasks on project. Assist with preplanning to ensure correct quantities of material and equipment is available and ensures equitable work distribution and even flow of work.
Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates. This position is available within Cape Town, Western Cape and will be on a Limited Duration Contract (“LDC”) basis for the duration of the project.

Key Responsibilities
Successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Successfully manage section of work within cost allowable
- Ensure that work is consistently completed within given time frames
- Ensure that quality of work are always be complied with to the contract requirements
- Ensure that information is consistently extracted correctly from drawings
- Ensure that measurements are done accurately without exception
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality assurance standards at all times.
- Providing constructive support to company initiatives
- Ensuring that quality of work and materials comply to specifications
- Consistently comply with all company policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance to Safety, Health & Environmental Regulations
- Ensure best practices in construction methods
Minimum requirements
Qualifications
• Grade 10 - Trade qualification OR a N3 - Technical qualification
Experience
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a site supervisory role within the building industry.
• Must have a valid driver’s licence
• Must be a South African Citizen
