Introduction
Concor Mining Services invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Artisan Boilermaker / Welder position. The successful incumbent will report directly to the Plant Supervisor at the Mogalakwena Mine Complex, located in Mokopane, Limpopo.
Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Perform first-line maintenance on the HME fleet to ensure optimal equi[meant performance.
- Provide engineering technical service to the team on site.
- Maintenance, fabrication, modification, and installation of structural members on HME within agreed standards.
- Comply with fabrication and proactive maintenance plans on HME.
- Sound application of various tools to prevent unnecessary damage.
- Performing work to the required standards and specifications.
- Completion of legal documents including Job Cards, SLAM, HIRA, and JIRA.
- Must be willing to work overtime and have the ability to work under pressure.
Minimum requirements
Qualifications:
- NQF 2 & Trade Certificate
- Technical knowledge of reading blueprints and using metal-working tools and equipment
Experience:
- 3 years of experience as a Boilermaker in an HME environment on tracked equipment
- Technical, specialist or analytical skills acquired through experience
- The ability to identify problem areas and find solutions to minimize downtime
- Excellent design and manufacturing skills
- Proactive and cost-effective approach to HME maintenance
- Good communication skills
